Skincare is one of the most punishing categories on Amazon: expensive keywords, established competitors with reviews you can't buy past, and shoppers who won't convert on a half-built listing. Roe had no review base, no advertising history, and a margin too honest to survive the usual agency move — pour money into ad spend, post a big top-line number, and bleed the brand dry on the way up.
